What to expect
Counselling & Psychotherapy are collaborative processes that begin by exploring the issues you bring to therapy in a safe and open environment.
In our first few sessions my goal is to begin to get to know you and help you develop clarity around the issues that brought you to counselling.
Together, we will work toward strengthening your inner resources and your ability to make more satisfying life choices that lead to a greater sense of peace and wholeness.
Studies suggest that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is the factor most correlated with a successful "treatment outcome." This is why it is so important to find a therapist you feel you can trust and connect with.
Stress & Anxiety
Together we will:
- Identify the triggers that activate your stress and anxiety
- Sift through possible past troubles, disconnects, and traumas that may be affecting how you feel
- Discover whether your perceptions may be feeding your stress and anxiety
- Create new solutions for old problems
- Learn tools to help you relax and get focused
- Establish an ability to view things more clearly
- Re-connect with your body in a healthy way

Session Information
Consistency: Sessions can be arranged weekly, fortnightly, or at a regular time depending on your requirements.
Duration: Work may be short-term or long-term depending on the issues presented.
Session Length: Each session will last one hour.
Cancellations: Notice for cancellation must be given 24 hours prior to the session. Cancellations must be notified within 24 hours of the scheduled time or the session will be charged in full.
How to arrange a Counselling or Psychotherapy session
Please email or telephone me during business hours. That way, we can arrange an initial session time. If my voicemail picks up the call, please leave a message and I will call you back.
My clinical practice is in Byron Bay, Australia. For counselling you may like to try online counselling via Skype.
