As a therapist my intention is to help you uncover your strengths and inner resources, using wisdom from ancient practices in conjunction with a relational / modern existential approach. This approach can work for achieving greater peace of mind, improving your quality of life, and creating a deeper understanding of life’s challenges how you respond to them.

People choose to talk to a counsellor for a variety of reasons; many people are involved in problem situations they are not handling well and realise they want to manage things more effectively. Some come because they are confused, or stuck in old patterns and are fed up with making the same mistakes. Others may be fearful or angry, or feel sad and lost or uncomfortably anxious. Counselling helps clients to develop more satisfying and resourceful ways of living.

As each person is unique, so is each therapy. I tailor interventions to clients individual needs, wants and presenting problems.

Ultimately, the goal is to create new and deeper awareness into who you are, your behavior and how you can take charge, leading to lasting, positive change.
